part-17

After some time, , the lunch cum dinner has been set on the dinning table and everyone headed towards the dinning table……  Vicky wanted to made geet sit with maan but he was failed and geet sat at the other side……   the food was so yummy, , 4 types of vegetables, , fruity curd, salad, puri, kheer,……

 

everyone licked their fingers and spoons, this much tasty the food was….. even maan also praised the food and everyone sighed in relief that he’ll be happy with geet……

 

After the dinner, , it’s time for their departure, , everyone is sitting in the hall and chatting with each other…. Where the geet and maan are the one who were sitting quietly, not talking with anyone, just hearing others talks and getting teased by others…..

 

geet was sitting in the mid of maan’s family and talking with her while she was just answering to them and maan, sometimes  look in his cell, sometimes replied to geet’s father……..

 

“achha mohinder ji…. Ab chaltey hai…” said maan’s father , , “arey nahi, param ji…. Aise kaise itni jaldi….. meetha toh aapne khaya hi nahi…” he said signaling to rano  for bring Moong Dal halwa…. “nahi, nahi…. Itna sab khilaa diya…. Ab aur nahi….” Param tried to deny but mohinder didn’t listen…..

 

“ha ha, behen ji…. Ab to stomach full ho gaya…” said maan’s mother where maan and geet tried to look at each other listening their talks in between…….  “aise kaise full ho gaya….. ye toh aap sabko khana hi padega…… Aapki hone wali Bahu ne jo banaya hai….” Said rano chirpily and everyone looked at geet where she looked down shyly…….

 

“achha ji… aisi baat hai…. Mai to jarur khaunga….” Raj said rubbing his hands together , adjusting himself on the couch comfortably…….  “ha ha…. Aap to lenge hi….. Geet, mai pehle hi bata rahi hu….. Raj and Maan, , yeh dono agar sath baith jaaye to sweets ka full bowl finish kar denge…” Simmi said looking at maan and raj…… where maan became embarrassed……. “Simmi di…aap…” maan tried to say something, Geet smiled hearing something about him….. so he is very fond of sweets…..

 

“tab toh, , Jodi khoob jamegi hamari di and jiju ki…. Because, my Geet di is expert in sweets….. she knows every kind of sweet dish and those dishes are mouth watering….” Ridzy replied hugging geet from behind……

 

“geet, , aap inki baato ko seriously mat lena…. ” said maan’s mother…… she doesn’t want that geet get scared because of their naughtiness……

 

“Geet, , I am saying this…. Whenever I’ll come at home na then please don’t take any extra efforts… just prepare full bowl of sweets for me…. That’ll be enough for me…” Raj said and all laughed ….. “ji, jija ji…” geet replied looking at him…… “haaye… jija jib hi kitna meetha-2 sound kar raha hai…” Raj said dreaming about the sweet dishes…… “kuch toh sharam karo..” Simmi said smacking his shoulder in front of everyone……..

 

“arey shrimati ji…. Ab geet se toh hamara Mazzak ka rishta hai… itna haq toh banta hai…. Kyon geet?” he asked straight from geet…… she doesn’t know what to reply… she just nodded and till then Rano and Sonia came there, with two trays, full of bowl with Moong Dal halwa…… and they served to everyone…..

 

“waah geet….. halwa ho toh aisa ho warna na ho..” Raj praised and pushed another spoon in his mouth full of halwa, , she said thank you…… she looked at maan and maan looked at her…. It was a eye lock of some seconds but she got it what he wanted to tell her…..

 

he loved the halwa made by her, , she got it when he looked at halwa and then at her, a sweet smile played on his lips, and his eyes shined ….. she also smiled in return , and he got it, she understood his praising……

 

After sometime, everyone standing at the gate for going back to their home….. just then Annie sneaked out from there and pulled geet from them, , everyone smiled knowing that may be she wants to talk with her, after geet is going to be her bhabhi……

 

“bhabhi..come fast…” annie said to her,,,,, “anwesha didi… kya hua?” geet asked…….. annie looked at geet shocked…..  “bhabhi..please….. there is no need to call me as di… call me annie..” she said to her…. “but…. If anyone will say something then….” Asked geet…. She knew that, at our in-laws house, we have to call di of husband’s sister whether the sister is younger or  elder…….

 

“chill bhabhi,….. there is no rule in our house….. call me with my name freely….. and yes feel free to ask anything about bhai…. Mai kisi ko kuch nahi bataungi…” annie whispered in geet’s ear and geet nodded shyly…..  “okay annie…” geet replied back…… “yeh huyi na annie ki bhabhi wali baat..” saying so she winked at her and both laughed……

 

“achha bhabhi….. give me ur number…. Who actually…. I know bhai will never ask so I thought I’ll accomplish this task…” she said winking at her again…… Annie can see the dreamy look in her eyes for maan and she became very happy cause Geet is perfect for her Bhai……  geet said her number to her and both went back…….  But geet remain inside the house…… everyone went back to Delhi making Geet theirs…..

He was standing at his window and looking again at the sky….. it was dark, , no sign of any star, dark clouds, like it is about to rain heavily……  A strong gush of wind passed through the window and went away from the gate of his room, , and it sends chills to his spines….. standing there in vest n tracks , late night and deep thinking, ……

 

Thinking about his life, about this whole week that is passed away like this but he became irritated with the continuous teasing by his family……   his lips curved in a smile when he got her call…. Well it was not hers fault….. it was the naughtiness of Vicky……  first he was shocked when he heard her voice and got to know that that’s geet’s voice…..  he closed his eyes and went back in flashback…….
